Faith Healing?

So I’m parked in Pauls Valley off Highway 35. There were a bunch of trucks in the lot, and this guy pulls up in front of my truck with Texas plates in a little Jetta. He looked like a rough version of your buddy that has spent some time discipleship with me. He had red hair but I think he was schizophrenic. He just sat there parked in front of my truck.

Getting in and out of his car in nothing but a pair of surfer shorts, and he was digging around in the back & front floorboards. . He stood there bent over in front of my truck for like five minutes, but what really freaked me out was he kept looking at me talking out loud like he was having a conversation with somebody, making hand motions and finger gestures, like he was trying to tell me something. I thought, man, I better get a weapon, because this guy isn’t right.

I started think is that the first male soliciting I have ever witnessed. It was creepy, creepy, creepy. Then I was like, he doesn’t seem safe like maybe he would attack me if I got out. I was intimidated. I didn’t know what he was capable of doing. I thought if I got out there and shared the gospel with him, that’d be a lot to take on I just didn’t know what to do.

But I woke up this morning and I was praying, and it just came over me. He (God) said, “Yeah, he would’ve been set free if you would’ve got out of your truck and spoken faith over him.” Spoke faith into his life.
Told him about what Jesus has already done for him.

And I just thought is it really that simple?

Not sure how I’ll have the kind of faith that speaks healing into people through Jesus finished work.
But I’m gonna certainly pray and meditate on it.
I believe I do have the faith that God can and will heal any situation if it’s for His glory and manifests the Kingdom to the lost.

It’s not that difficult. Dan Mohler is an excellent brother in Christ that teaches on it.
