Celebrating July 4th Independence Day

I celebrated July 4th with the most amazing young lady I think I’ve ever known. My babygirl Sloan. Which apparently can hold her own when it comes to getting things done with grace.
We had the most Amazing conversations and I was perplexed by her thoughts on the future. Sloan just graduated high school, she has many goals. Today she even micro managed me with some of her skills she learned in psychology. Positive games that entailed me taking out trash and reporting back what plant I seen on the way.
I look at my kitchen and order is restored. Thank you Dr Sloan. lol. I could carry on but my head might pop like a balloon. lol. I’d say her technique’s were very effective as my chores were getting done and I was able to focus. Amen.
We scooted down to our secret fireworks spot where the fireworks reflect off the river like it was a lake. Our assessment of this years fireworks were a solid 10. Alton did a great job this year and the grand finale was spectacular.
We reflected on the 250 year celebration and thought about what it took to become a nation. So Happy 4th of July & Happy 250th Birthday America.
We are so grateful and blessed to live in this nation. With Gods presence we’re sure to have 250 more.
